Studio re-opening plan

Welcome back to practice in our freshly painted, squeaky clean, safe, and best of all HOT, HOT, HOT studio!

A Blog about Studio News from Vicki Anderson

We are just beyond excited to welcome you all back into the studio. They say absence makes the heart grow fonder, and oh boy, is that true; we’ve missed you all SO much!

As we open our doors again, our first priority is to keep all students, teacher and staff super safe. This is why we are re-opening our door in steps, or phases, to make sure everything happens in a safe, clean and socially distanced manner. This is our plan:

PHASE 1: Our pre-opening week starts on the 25th of July.

  • Week 25-31/7 access to in-studio classes is primarily limited to members who have kept their full memberships throughout the whole lockdown period, and to our Hot Room Heroes, who sponsored Yogis in Need.
  • To keep everyone safe and socially distanced, the maximum capacity of the yoga room is 19 students/class.

PHASE 2: Grand Re-Opening Week

  • From Saturday the 1st of August, access to in-studio classes is open to everyone on a FULL Monthly Membership. Please note that if you are on an ONLINE ONLY membership or Intro package, you do NOT have access to these classes, so you would need to upgrade your membership to come to a physical class.
  • As in-studio capacity is limited to 19 people/class you will book via a waitlist.
  • Classes will be available to book on a rolling 7 day schedule. We ask that you only book one class/day in the studio. You can take as many virtual and live stream classes as you like. This allows you time to reacclimate to the environment and gives others a chance to get in for their much-needed sweat.
  • No Drop Ins and no Buddy Passes.
  • PLEASE NOTE: Everyone will be on a waitlist for class. This does not mean you can’t get into class. We will work to move everyone into class. This will give everyone a chance to practice in the heat. You MUST confirm your waitlist spot via text when prompted to do so.
  • If you are absent or if you cancel late (less than 12 hours before the start of class) there WILL be an Absent/Late Cancel fee of £20 automatically charged to your credit/debit card. We will need to have your debit/credit card on file to accept bookings.

PHASE 3: Relaxing restrictions

  • When government guidelines allow us to relax restrictions, we will increase our class capacity.
  • When we can increase class capacity, we will start to allow drop-in visits again, and also allow people to use old Buddy Passes. Right now there is no indication from the government about when this might be.

If you prefer to continue to just practice online with us, please know that we will continue to run live classes on Zoom. As we re-phase back into the studio, we will keep you up to date on this service feature, in accordance with the studio capacity and the ever changing health and safety guidelines. We hope that you are already enjoying the pre-recorded, on-demand classes in our Virtual Library, which are definitely here to stay, and which will just keep getting better as we add more and more content every week.

Stay safe and well, and if you’re coming in to practice, we will see you very soon!
