Actually, yes. Our powerful yin classes do exactly that. Most of the postures in this class are done sitting or lying on the floor. Postures are held for a relatively long time (longer in Yin than in Restorative) which help us stretch those deep layers of connective tissue that are hard to reach in other styles of yoga with shorter postures.
Yin and Restorative yoga are an excellent complement to all our other classes, especially if you struggle with flexibility, or need a practice that involves zero performance and 100% relaxation. You will leave these classes feeling deeply relaxed, body and mind.
